The Golden Eye: Short Poems About Sun
The Golden Eye: The Sun |
And the sun needs no praise,
Especially in these summer days,
At the dawn the roster screams,
Upon the blue plate the yolk gleams.
And the sun needs no praise,
Especially it's fierce rays,
Through the heavens these arrows,
Pierce the sky like the sparrows.
And the sun needs no praise,
Especially it's never ending gaze,
Amidst the blue this golden speck,
Rests like a captain on the deck.
And the sun needs no praise,
Especially in a thousand ways;
The king of sky, the mother of earth,
The golden eye, the milky way's heart.
And the sun needs no praise,
Especially on the margins of bays,
Oh! this a gem, this is just one,
kudos and farewell to you my sun!
