Poems About Time And Love

Poems About Time And love

Time...Time and Time! this may be the most frequently used word nowadays. And it needs to be, because time is not just the irritating ticking of a clock, it's a way broader term. Time is of essence because it is the one thing that can make you and sometimes break you. so, we shall know it for sure that time is a blessing and must not be messed up. It is way more valuable than money and must be spent wisely. Once time passes by it can't return again. That's why once a honourable man said that "Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend". It must also be noted that we don't have power over time but time is the one thing that possesses the power to control us therefore, we are lost in it!

The given below is a poem about time and love.

Ticking of a clock.

  The Needles Of A clock

Tick-tock, tick-tock, round goes the clock,
Three form one and at twelve they stop,
Yesterday dies and tomorrow nears,
Bad days pass by, why not bad years?

Curtains are your foes they let only twilight,
The moon has faded and so has the dark night,
Today is a present and yesterday was a sacrifice,
So, rise o dear you must rise!

Rise o soul from this half death,
The body is craving for a fresh breath,
Ding-dong, ding-dong, the morning bells are ringing,
And their best songs spring birds are singing.

Today is not what yesterday you have seem,
This day is real and yesterday was a dream,
You can mold this day with truth and without lies,
So rise o dear, you must rise!

Bad days have passed by this is not a bad year,
Yesterday has died and today you are here,
Remember, one forms three and they never stop,
Tick-tock, tick-tock the needles of the clock!

We were restless under a red sky, As every instance took away our breath, With every tick our hopes would die, that life was chasing our death. But life was holding on for life, On the sharp edge of a blunt knife! Birth was a curse and so was living, Unborn hawks were unborn slaves, When life was meant only giving, And our muddy fortresses were open graves; Upon which...

A Bird In A Cage

A Bird In A Cage   Every dawn, My damp eyes open wide.   Would this be the day, I will be able to born a flight? Will this be the day, I waited for day and night?   Without a hesitation, I can mention, Their spiteful intentions. Perhaps they want me, To sing sweet songs, As long as, A never ending marathon.   I know, I was born to glow, Destined to sing sweet songs, But for real, I do not belong, To a steel made home, Suffering here all alone.   All my fears, All my tears, Living in my nightmares, It is not fair, I can’t bear.   They say; My fascinating features, Especially my vivid feathers, Make them blissful.   Why don’t they set me free, So they can see, What I actually meant to be, Flying up high in the sky.   All is lost, But I still hope; What-if they set me free, So I can flee, To the wild unseen.
