A Plant In Shade
My life is full of turmoil,
Because I am grounded in
soil.
Every instance I am
desperate,
All of my friends are late,
All of them are gone,
Leaving me all alone.
No one here minds,
But I do.
No one here is kind,
Why they do so?
I believe I will grow,
One day.
If I won’t get crushed,
The other day.
People are my fear,
Their love is so harsh,
Plucking me apart,
Is what they call love,
I don’t know how,
They bear to call it love.
My luck is really harsh,
I used to be on a marsh,
But now I am suffering,
On a dried out terrain,
With no snow, no rain.
I am all parched.
All is not lost,
But I still have the hope.
One day the clouds,
Will gift me some drops,
Hope turns me green,
Still all of it appears to be
a dream.
Because at the moment,
I am all yellow,
I am also sad,
But I won’t fade,
Because I want to flower and
shower.
The other day,
They will see me,
Turning into a giving tree.
One that plays with the
winds,
One that gives shade,
One that never fades,
A tree unseen,
Every season green.
